Man threatens elementary school principal, prompts lockdown
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)- Tucson Police arrested a man Friday for threatening the principal of Sewell elementary school.
Kristopher Ritter, 44, was roaming Sewell Elementary, located near Wilmot Road and 5th Street, making strange comments to parents, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer.
When the principal was informed of this he confronted Ritter, who pushed the principal and threatened his life. This is when the school was placed on lockdown and 911 was called, officers said.
Police arrested Ritter, who now faces multiple charges, including disorderly conduct and threatening/indimidation.
