Three men arrested in Marana bank robbery

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Three men have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery that took place in Marana.
Sgt. Jose Alvarez with Marana Police tells KGUN9 that officers responded to a robbery at the National Bank of Arizona, in the 11000 block of West Trico Marana Road, around 3:30 p.m on October 8.
Detectives responded to further investigate and determine two adult males entered the bank and jumped over the teller counters, demanding money.
One man was armed with a crowbar and one man was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, said Alvarez.
The men were given an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank. They were last seen leaving the scene in a tan Ford 4-door sedan.
Officers searched the area and located the sedan near Rillito Vista the area detained and identified three men who were seen running from the car.
Ardell Dwayne Lewis, 26, Phillip Michael Willis, 28, and David Leland Barton, 24, were arrested in connection with the robbery.
All three have been booked into one count of armed robbery, one count of aggravated robbery, one count of first degree burglary and three counts of aggravated assault.
