Tucson police make arrest in armed robbery spree

Gustavo Paco was arrested as a suspect in three Circle K armed robberies.
TUCSON, AZ (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police arrested a man Thursday morning as he was on his way to his fourth Circle K robbery.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with TPD tells KGUN9 that a spree of armed robberies occurred between 11:42 p.m. Wednesday and 1:32 a.m. Thursday.
The man in the three robberies had a handgun and demanded money from the clerks, Widmer says.
At about 1:53 a.m., an officer found a man matching the description of the suspect in the three robberies. Widmer says 28-year-old Gustavo Paco was crouched down behind a wall near the Circle K at 130 E. Speedway Blvd.
He was detained and identified as the suspect from the previous robberies. Paco had an handgun at the time officers detained him.
The three robberies happened at the Circle K's located at 5801 N. Oracle Rd., 2405 N. Silverbell Rd., and 1395 W. Miracle Mile.
Paco was booked into jail on three counts of Armed Robbery.
Detectives say a second suspect and a vehicle may still be outstanding.
