TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Crews with Northwest Fire are on the scene near Oracle and River where a woman has suffered injuries after her truck fell about into an embankment.

Capt. Adam Goldberg tells KGUN9 that firefighters responded to the 600 block of West Yvon Drive at about 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.

They found a pick-up truck about 70 feet down an embankment and the 66-year-old woman driving was still in the truck.

The woman told crews she was on a newspaper route on Yvon Drive and was trying to pass a slow-moving cement truck when she left the roadway.

The truck remained upright, and the woman only had minor injuries.

A Northwest Fire technical rescue team helped get the woman up the hillside. She refused medical treatment at the scene and did not want to go to the hospital.

Goldberg says she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.
