TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Jadrian Rusche, 32, and Michael Kistner, 30, have been identified as the men killed in an apparent apparent murder-suicide on Tuesday night.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 the shooting happened in the 4500 block of East 28th Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found both men with gunshot trauma in the street in front of the home. Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene, said Widmer.
Detectives responded and have determined the suspect and the victim lived together at the residence as roommates.
They became involved in an altercation inside the home, said Widmer.
Kistner attacked Rusche with a kitchen knife and stabbed him multiple times. Kistner then armed himself with a handgun and fired multiple shots at the Rusche. Rusche ran from the residence into the street and Kistner chased him. Kistner fired additional shots at Rusche prior to turning the gun on himself and committing suicide.
It is believed that the victim was struck multiple times by gunfire both inside and outside the home.
