Police release new surveillance photos in check fraud case
ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Oro Valley Police released new photos Tuesday of a suspect wanted in a check fraud case.
Police say two woman cashed a fraudulent check at a local Walmart.
Lt. Kara Riley tells KGUN9 that surveillance shows a woman who appeared to be 40-years-old, around 5’3”-5’5”, 200 pounds with dark hair. She was wearing sunglasses, light blue tank top, dark blue jean shorts and several tattoos on her upper arms and left chest area.
A second female, who also appears to be approximately 40-years-old, 5’3”-5’05”, 150 pounds wearing a short sleeve blue denim shirt, and blue jeans, is also a suspect in this case, said Riley.
The women approached the counter to check out of the store and proceeded to pass a fraudulent check and depart the store in a white, newer-model U-haul pick-up truck
