SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Three men were arrested after authorities found 514 pounds of marijuana in a stash house Friday.

Cpl. Scott Borgstadt with the Sierra Vista Police Department tells KGUN9 that detectives from SVPD and Homeland Security Investigations were doing surveillance on a car they saw bundles being loaded into.

The car was in the Coronado Park area south of Sierra Vista near the border. Detectives followed the car into Sierra Vista where it parked at a home in the 4500 block of Paseo Arruza.

The driver, 28-year-old Julio Irqui Villa of Mexico, gave detectives a forged U.S. Permanent Resident card when they made contact.

Detectives were able to get a search warrant for the home and the car where they found the marijuana, valued at $154,000.

Two men inside the home, Steven Gary Grimes, 31, and Patrick Andrew Lawson, 34 were both arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale and transport of marijuana for sale.

Villa was charged with transport of marijuana for sale, possession of marijuana for sale and presenting a forged document. Police say Villa was in the country illegally.

All three men are being held at the Cochise County Jail on a $150,000 bond each.
