Southern Arizona expecting more storms
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - It certainly was a busy day and night for southern Arizona on Monday.
Southern Arizona saw widespread rainfall totals from 0.75 to 2 inches in some locations, over the last 48 hours from Tucson east.
Some areas saw over 4 inches, including Mt. Lemmon.
With more storms expected, runoff and flash flooding will once again be a concern. It won't take much given the already saturated conditions.
There is a slight chance the current cloud cover and high moisture content will limit storms today, but given the approaching low, we could still see some decent and widespread rain this afternoon and again tonight.
Storms may even move a little further west, into Pima and Pinal counties.
