Two-year-old Tucson girl shot by stray bullet

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff's deputies tell Nine On Your Side a two-year-old girl was shot in the leg around 1:30 p.m., Saturday. It happened at the girl's house near Mission and Valencia on Tucson's southside.
According to deputies, the toddler was hit by a stray bullet. Deputies say the girl's uncle, 23-year-old Richard Moreno, was outside the home when he accidently discharged the gun. The bullet went through a wall, striking the child in the leg. She was in the living room at the time of the shooting.
Moreno has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
The child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
