Trailer accident on I-10 shuts down on-ramp on southside

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County Sheriff's deputies and crews with the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Rural/Metro Fire Department responded to an accident on Tucson's southside early Saturday morning.
Capt. Grant Cesarek with the Rural/Metro Fire Department tells KGUN9 that a three-vehicle accident occurred on the off-ramp of Interstate 10 and Palo Verde Road just after 7:00 a.m. Saturday.
A camper-trailer jack-knifed on the off-ramp, causing the accident and major traffic delays, according to Cesarek.
One person was taken to the hospital following the accident. No word on the patient's condition at this time, Cesarek says.
Traffic has resumed in the westbound lanes at I-10 and Irvington Road, according to Garin Groff with the Arizona Department of Transportation.
