TEMPE, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Police in Tempe have canceled an Amber Alert for a 21-month-old boy, who officers said had been abducted. They say the child is safe and the suspect is in custody.
Through the Amber Alert system, police first reported Olivia Mosley forcibly took her child from a daycare center at about 3 p.m. in Tempe after learning that CPS was going to take her son.
She got into a fight with some of the staff at the daycare before leaving in a 1994 Maroon Lexus with Arizona license plate BCD4654.
Police said Mosley was considered a danger to herself and others. She suffers from mental illness and has not been taking prescribed medication.
