YARNELL, Ariz. (AP) - Residents displaced by a deadly Arizona wildfire will be allowed to return home Monday morning.

Yavapai County officials confirmed Sunday that evacuation orders in Yarnell would be lifted at 9 a.m. Monday. About 700 were evacuated from the community northwest of Phoenix.

The fire started Friday, June 28. Nineteen firefighters battling the fire were killed the following Sunday.

Residents must present identification containing their address to gain access to the area.

Fire information officer Jim Whittington said Friday there were three reasons for the delay. Crews needed to make sure 129 destroyed structures won't start another fire and they needed to fix power lines and poles and check every propane tank.

Residents of the nearby community of Peeples Valley returned home on Thursday.
