TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Federal authorities in southern Arizona say they've rescued four migrants who entered the country illegally and fell off a cliff.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents requested air support after arresting a group of migrants near Rio Rico early Friday.
They say four people in the group fell off a cliff and two suffered broken legs, another had a broken pelvis and a fourth had a broken jaw.
A Tucson Air Branch helicopter airlifted the four to a landing zone where they were turned over to emergency medical services.
Their names and nationalities weren't immediately available.
