NWS issues severe thunderstorm, flood warnings

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning and small stream flood advisory for parts of Pima County.
The NWS tells KGUN9 that the severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for southeastern and northeastern Pima County. Both warnings will remain in effect throughout early Friday afternoon.
Additional thunderstorms could develop throughout the afternoon.
A small stream flood advisory for eastern Pima County is also in effect until 4:30 p.m. Friday, according to NWS. And a flood warning has been issued for east-central Pima County until 3:30 p.m.
The storm could produce quarter-size hail and winds up to 60 mph, according to NWS. Heavy rain and lightning are also possible.
