1. SECOND DAY WITHOUT POWER

Around 1,100 TEP customers on the West Side and Midtown are still without power this morning. High winds downed lines Monday evening. Crews say that they hope to have electricity restored for everyone by early tonight.

2. YARNELL FIRE INVESTIGATION 

The investigation into the deaths of 19 firefighters in the Yarnell fire begins this morning. Scientists from states across the country will head to Arizona. They are working to determine if human error led to the tragedy.

3. YARNELL CONTAINMENT NUMBERS

The Yarnell fire is just 8% contained this morning. Officials estimate that they've lost at least 50 buildings to the flames. Hundreds more are still in danger. They've now set a tentative deadline of July 12th as the date that they hope to have the blaze fully under control.

4. HOTSHOT SURVIVOR STORY
 

Fire officials say the lone survivor on an elite Arizona firefighting crew was on a hilltop serving as a "lookout," and was in charge of relaying key information to his colleagues.
