Suspect identified in east side standoff

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police identified the suspect in Thursday's standoff who killed himself while barricaded inside a condo.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that 32-year-old Jameson Michael Rickett was the man found inside the home after the nearly six hour standoff ended.
Police say officers assisted U.S. Marshals with a man who barricaded himself near Tanque Verde and Camino Pio Decimo at about 11 a.m.
Authorities tells 9OYS that Marshals were serving a warrant on the 32-year-old man for robbery and kidnapping out of Las Vegas. He also has a warrant for dangerous drugs in Maricopa County.
Rickett barricaded himself inside his ex-girlfriend's condo. Authorities considered him armed and dangerous. He was the only person inside the home at the time.
Police say Rickett killed himself shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday.
Tanque Verde was closed both east and westbound at Camino Pio Decimo.
