Crews busy bolstering lines around Arizona blaze

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Firefighters battling a blaze in Arizona's Granite Mountain Wilderness are focused on building as much fire line as possible.
The Doce Fire has charred nearly 11 square miles since being sparked Tuesday northwest of Prescott.
The blaze has forced the evacuation of more than 460 homes in the valleys below, and neighborhoods in the Williamson Valley are on notice for potential evacuation.
Fire information officer Brian Grant says rather than use as much air support on Saturday, hand crews and dozers were working to get around the fire to strengthen existing lines and look for places to build new lines in the more rugged areas.
Grant says fire managers will be able to answer any questions from residents at a public meeting planned for Sunday evening at the Prescott High School auditorium.
