OVPD arrest drive-by shooting suspect

ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Blass Delmissier Gonzales, 38, has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting incident.

Lt. Kara Riley tells KGUN9 that on October 19, 2011, Oro Valley Police responded to the area of Northern and Magee regarding a road rage incident.

The victim reported leaving a grocery store with two young children when a black Volkswagen cut-off the victim's vehicle. The driver of the Volkswagen pulled to the side of the roadway and showed a weapon. He shot and struck the victim's vehicle, said Riley.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries sustained from shattered glass.

There were no other injuries reported in this incident.
 
On April 18, OVPD received additional information on this case that lead to the Gonzales. He has been indicted on one count of drive-by shooting.
