Suspicious chemical at Tucson Mall probably baby powder
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police and fire crews responded to the Tucson Mall Friday after reports of a suspicious chemical on a car in the parking lot.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with Tucson Police says the "chemical" is not dangerous, and was probably baby powder.
Capt. Chris Jurvig with Tucson Fire says that the hazardous materials crew responded just in case the chemical was dangerous.
Police closed off part of the parking lot near Sears while they investigated, but everything is back open.
