DPS investigating fatal collision near Douglas

DOUGLAS, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a two-vehicle head-on collision with four fatalities.

Officer Raul Molina tells KGUN9 the accident happened at 4:35 am on Thursday morning near US 191, MP 3. That is approximately 3 miles north of Douglas, AZ.

Four occupants were been transported to UAMC and four fatalities have been confirmed.

Those who died have been identified as Dena Casella, 49, Elizebeth Cajigas, 56, Ramona Medrano, 54, and Benito Gastelo, 53.

The vehicles involved were a 1994 Chevy pick-up truck and a 2006 Ford van.
