TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County deputies identified a 21-year-old killed in a single-vehicle accident Sunday night.
Officials with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tell KGUN9 that Drew Nicolas Gyorke was killed after he drove his vehicle into a wall.
Deputies responded to the 6400 block of north Alvernon Way and east Skyline Drive just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday following a single-vehicle collision, according to Deputy Jesus Banuelos with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
First responding deputies discovered that Gyorke drove his vehicle into a wall on the southside of Skyline Drive, Banuelos said.
Emergency medical personnel transported Gyorke to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to Banuelos.
The Sheriff's Traffic Unit responded to the scene to investigate the accident. Deputies determined that as Gyorke was traveling southbound on Alvernon Way, it appears he failed to stop at a stop sign.

The vehicle collided with a wall at the dead end of Alvernon Way. Investigators also determined that the man was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Banuelos.
