Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries following southside accident

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - An accident on Tucson's southside Saturday night left a pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Tucson police are investigating an accident in which a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Irvington Road and Campbell Avenue, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department.
Widmer says the accident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. Saturday.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following the accident, according to Widmer.
This was not a hit-and-run, but the investigation is on-going at this time, Widmer says.
