TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A killer is still on the loose tonight, after a man viciously jumped a counter and stabbed AM/PM clerk Erick Bridges twice in the heart last Friday.
On Thursday, police released images of items they recovered that they say belonged to the suspect in the stabbing.
The items include a hooded sweatshirt, and a brown backpack.
Police ask anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
While Erick's family mourns their loss, they also remember the 22-year-old they will miss so much.
"There wasn't a fight that Erick wasn't willing to fight for someone else," Erick's mom, Shawn Bridges, told Nine On Your Side.
His family remembers Erick as a man of character.
"He would have taken his shirt off his back for just about anybody," Erick's brother, Michael Speese, said.
"He had the biggest heart," Erick's older sister Jennifer Speese said. "He always fought for the underdog."
"We were never separated," cried Erick's younger sister Logan Bridges, "and now I don't have him."
Erick's grandmother Connie Martin told us what keeps her strong is her faith in God.
"We hope that someone will come forward with information so that this person does not do it someone else."
If you have any information about this case, you are urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
AM/PM will also will give a $25,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in this case.
The family will hold a vigil at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Baseball Field No. 2 at Morris K. Udall Regional Park, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road.
