TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A serious, early-morning rollover accident in midtown left one person in critical condition.
Emergency medical personnel responded to a rollover accident in the 1600 block of east Grant Road, near Campbell Avenue, just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Capt. Chris Jurvig with the Tucson Police Department.
Once on scene, crews determined that the accident was serious and that additional resources were necessary to get to the three patients inside the vehicle, Jurvig said.
Jurvig tells KGUN9 that one of the patients was partially ejected and pinned under the vehicle.
Crews had to use cribbing to stabilize the vehicle and pull the patient from under the vehicle, according to Jurvig.
All three patients were transported to the hospital and one of the passengers remains in critical condition at a local hospital, Jurvig said.
