Trial set in Mohave County molestation case
KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - An Aug. 19 child molestation trial has been scheduled in Mohave County Superior Court for an 83-year-old former economic development official previously convicted in a counterfeiting case.
Donald Van Brunt was indicted last year on child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor charges that accuse him of molesting two boys who since have become adults.
The Kingman Miner (http://bit.ly/12bEojn ) reports that Van Brunt previously was convicted in 1982 of conspiracy to make counterfeit currency while he and another man had a print shop in California.
He later became executive director of the Mohave County Economic Development Authority but resigned from the position when his previous conviction came to light.
