TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies are searching for someone they say attempted to kidnap a young girl in Vail.
Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that someone tried to kidnap a 13-year-old girl near a Vail Walgreens around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies are now looking for a caucasian, clean-shaven, in his early-20's with brown hair and a dark colored ring on his hand. He was last seen headed westbound from Cienega Creek Road driving an older model, white, four-door SUV that has tinted windows.
"The victim is very shaken and it is obvious that we are dealing with a serious incident and that is of concern for the community," Peine told 9OYS.
Deputies ask that anyone with information please call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
