Deputies responding to injured hiker near Seven Falls

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Pima County deputies are responding to an injured hiker near Seven Falls.
Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that a 30-year-old woman rolled her ankle and heard a popping noise while hiking near Seven Falls Sunday afternoon.
The woman's husband then called 9-1-1 and asked for assistance in helping his wife off of the trail because her ankle is swollen.
Deputies and emergency medical personnel are currently en route to the woman, according to Peine.
The search and rescue team has also requested horses for assistance in carrying the 30-year-old woman out of Sabino Canyon, Peine said.
