TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - An elderly man drove his car into a building, but was unharmed.

Capt. Adam Goldberg tells KGUN9 that firefighters responded to the AM/PM located at 3825 West Orange Grove Road near Thornydale just after 1:00 p.m. for reports of a car into a building.

When crew arrived on scene, the found damage to the external building. However, the car involved had already been move out of the area, said Goldberg.

The elderly male driver of the vehicle involved was assessed by paramedics at the scene, but he was uninjured.

Marana Police were at the scene to determine the cause of the accident.

The AM/PM convenience store was evacuated at the time of the accident and will remain closed until the safety of the structure can be determined.

No other injuries were reported.
