TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) It was a cruise gone criminal.

Todd Nordahl, 49, of Tucson, was in Texas federal court Thursday after being accused of sexually molesting a 15-year-old boy aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise line.

According to the FBI, Nordahl provided an alcoholic drink to the boy before making sexual advances. After a brief period of "cuddling," the report says he performed oral sex on the minor.

The cruise ship, Mariner of the Seas, had set sail for seven nights on March 24 from Galveston, Texas, making stops in Honduras, Belize and Mexico. The reported sexual contact happened three days into the cruise in waters that fall under U.S. jurisdiction.

Nordahl was put under 24/7 guarded surveillance until they reached port in Galveston on Sunday, where FBI agents were waiting to arrest him.

According to his Twitter account, Nordahl moved to Tucson in January. On December 22 he tweeted: I am so happy to soon be in Tucson where the men are pretty friendly.

Before living in Tucson, Nordahl was a restaurant owner in Seattle.
