TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Douglas Police and Fire rescued several occupants who were trapped inside their apartments earlier this morning due to a structure fire.

Officers with Douglas Police tell KGUN9 that they received the 911 dispatch call at 2:23 a.m. from the apartments at 1057 D-Avenue.

Upon arrival, they encountered the fire on the north side of the complex. Police say moments later they received another 911 call from 39-year-old Ana Lilia Urquijo who said that she had started the fire on the second floor of her apartment.

Officers arrested Urquijo and charged her with arson of an occupied structure and seventeen counts of endangerment.

The occupants were not injured, but treated for smoke inhalation according to Douglas Police.
