TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Come one, come all. The food is frying at the Fourth Avenue Street Fair and word on the street is: It's good.

“We just had a tri tip steak sandwich: It was delicious,” said Carol Simpson. “Everything is just great, and visiting from Seattle it's wonderful, away from the rain and snow.”

The festival will bring in more than 300,000 people over the weekend, but it's not just for the out-of-towners. For Mallory Banales, it's an annual tradition her and her family wouldn't miss.

“We like to come with our family and hang out and get out in the nice weather and see the different shops that they have each year. It’s just a Tucson tradition.”

There's no shortage of things to do, with live music from local artists to face painting for the kids to virtual reality rides. So you won't miss out on the fun, Nine On Your Side’s Simone Del Rosario found out if there was anything you needed to keep in mind before heading downtown.

“So what are some of the challenges that your everyday Tucsonan is going to face trying to get down here to the street fair this weekend?” Del Rosario asked.

“There are no challenges!” Marketing Director Kurt Tallis said. “There is tons of parking: We do not have a parking problem. We have parking garages downtown, 15,000 parking spaces at the U of A, so parking is not an issue.

“Come on down: We've got beer, dad can have a beer while you're shopping. It's a great time to experience Tucson and be a part of a Tucson tradition.”
