Two dogs lost in mobile home fire

ELFRIDA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Two dogs have died as a results of a mobile home fire in Elfrida.

Dan Zamore, Fire Chief with Elfrida Fire Department tells KGUN9 that crews responded to the 4000 block of West Evalma on March 19.

When firefighters arrived on scene, the double wide mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.

A family of three safely escaped the blaze, but two dogs were lost in the fire.

The cause of the fire is being ruled accidental, said Zamore. The home is considered a total loss.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family with food and clothing.
