Tucson Police needs help identifying suspects

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police needs help identifying two suspects involved in a phone scam last month. The victim was visiting Tucson for the Gem Show and staying at the Hotel Tucson.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with TPD tells KGUN9 the victim, on Feb 10, received a call from a person who he thought was a friend. He agreed to loan the caller money to fix his car. Two females arrived and picked up several thousand dollars from the victim.

The first suspect is described as an African-American female, 25 to 30 years old, 5'05" and 130 to 140 pounds. She was wearing denim pants and a white or grey hoodie.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic or Indian female, 25 to 30 years old, 5'04", 120 to 140 pounds and possibly pregnant. She was wearing a black or brown tights and a camouflage jacket.

Anyone with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
