Police need help searching for bank burglar

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police continue to search for the man responsible for an Oro Valley bank robbery today.
 
Police responded to a report of a Chase Bank burglary in progress just before 5 p.m. at a location in the 12000 block of North Oracle.
 
Officers learned that the man entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. the suspect was unarmed, according to Oro Valley Police Lt. Kara Riley.
 
The burglar fled the scene, heading westbound on foot with an undetermined amount of money. He was described as a white male with black disheveled hair, around 5’10’’ and between 160 and 170 pounds. He wore a long sleeve white under shirt, dark t-shirt, blue jeans, gloves and a straw hat.
 
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Oro Valley Police Department by calling 9-1-1 or 229-4900.
