TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) – A Sierra Vista resident shot at a home invader just before 10 p.m. Monday night.
According to police, a man reported that he was in the back of his home when he spotted an intruder carrying a knife inside his residence in the 3600 block of Toltec Court, south of Sierra Vista. The homeowner shot one round from a .38 caliber at the male suspect, who fled the scene through the front door. The tenant was unsure if the trespasser was injured.
The suspect was described as a man in a black hoodie and tan shorts.
