Police seek help locating dangerous, mentally ill man

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police ask for the public's help in locating a mentally unstable man who could be dangerous.
Tucson police need help locating 30-year-old Richard Ascher, an endangered adult, who went missing Tuesday, February 12 from a care facility located at 1441 South No Le Hace Avenue, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department.
Widmer tells KGUN9 that according to the staff at the care facility, Ascher takes medication for his mental illness, but did not take his medication with him when he left the facility. Staff members also tell police Ascher has made threats to harm others.

Ascher doesn't have access to money, but he has used public transit and shuttle buses in the past, according to Widmer.
Anyone with information about Ascher's whereabouts is still urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
