TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Water will host two free water conservation workshops on February 16 that will qualify goers for rebates on conservation systems.
The workshops will be held at the University of Arizona, Pima County Cooperative Extension, 4210 N. Campbell Ave. The rainwater workshop will be from 9:00 a.m. to noon while the gray water workshop will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
These classes are designed to teach attendees about each system and how to operate and maintain them. Rebates are also being offered for gray water and rainwater systems, according to Fernando B. Molina with Tucson Water.
Workshops are mandatory for those interested in rebates. Up to 50 percent of the cost of either system can be rebated.
