TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Authorities are responding to a train accident that has left one person dead.
Capt. Barrett Baker with the Tucson Fire Department says emergency responders were called to Valencia Road, Near the Air National Guard, after reports of someone being hit by a train.
Police tell KGUN9 the accident has forced officials to shut down the roadway on South Wilmot Road, from Littletown Road to Via Rio Pico. The closure is for both northbound and southbound travel and it is expected to last for several hours.
