TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)- A teenager was arrested for smuggling narcotics following a drug bust at a Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 19.

Agents at a Nogales Station were inspecting a commercial shuttle over the weekend when they found almost two pounds of methamphetamines on a teenage passenger, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. 

The passenger, 18-year-old Clarisa Aguilar is a U.S. citizen who now faces federal prosecution. 

The methamphetamines have an estimated value of $21,850. The drugs were turned over to the DEA.
