Sierra Vista Police seek public's help identifying robbery suspect

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz (KGUN9-TV) - Sierra Vista Police is asking the public for help identifying a man who robbed a 76-year-old blind man and his 69-year-old wife.

Cpl Scott Borgstadt with Sierra Vista Police tells KGUN9 that the robbery happened December 16  at the Fry's Food Store, located at 4351 East Highway 90.

They couple had just finished shopping when a man grabbed the woman's purse from the shopping cart and ran east through the parking lot where he jumped a fence and headed east toward Tree Top Avenue.

The man is described as is a white and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white graphics on the back.

SVPD now has video and and a photo of the suspect.
