TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) The 3rd ranked Wildcats came back from a 17 point deficit to stun Colorado 92-83 in overtime at McKale Center.
Sabatino Chen appeared to hit a game winning 3 pointer for the Buffaloes. However, the officials waived it off after it was deemed that he didn't get the shot off in time.
Wildcats head coach Sean Miller said, "We've been on the other end of that call and if we're on the tail end of it this way, then that's why you play the game all the way to the end. He did bank the shot in so there's good fortune on both sides of the ball."
Mark Lyons had 24 points to lead the Wildcats in their Pac-12 opener. Kevin Parrom had 5 of his 16 points in overtime.
It was an improbable rally for Arizona who was down by 16 with 12:40 to go.
Arizona is 13-0 for the first time since the 1932 season. They host Utah on Saturday.
