Early morning fire destroys tattoo shop on 22nd street

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A fire broke out at a tattoo shop Friday morning at 6142 East 22nd Street, west of Wilmot.
The business was closed at the time of the fire.
TFD units responded to the scene by 5:26 a.m., according to Capt. Jeff Langejans.
It took 12 units and 28 firefighters 24 minutes to extinguish the blaze. There were no injuries and Red Cross was not needed.
In a news release, Langejans said the fire was intentionally set and the investigation is ongoing. The damages are estimated at $300,000.
