Jeff Scurran to be introduced as Catalina Foothills Head Coach

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) Catalina Foothills High School will introduced Pima County Hall of Famer Jeff Scurran as its new head football coach on Friday.

Scurran led Sabino High School to 3 state championships during the 1990's. He then coached Pima County Community College to an upset win over Kilgore in the 2004 Pilgrim's Pride Bowl Game.

In 2007, Scurran took over a winless Santa Rita Team. He led them to an 11-2 season and a trip to the state semifinals. For his achievements, The Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society named him National Coach of the Year.

Scurran takes over for Scott Cortese. Catalina Foothills was winless in 2012. They were outscored by their opponents 433-73.
