FLORENCE, Ariz. (KGUN 9-TV) - A woman was shot and killed yesterday afternoon in her home in San Tan Valley.

Pinal County deputies responded to the 700 block of west Via De Palmas and found 50-year-old Nicole Pirelli-Brown suffering from multiple gun shot wounds, according to Tim Gaffney, Pinal County Sheriff's Office Director of Communications.

Gaffney tells KGUN9 that the woman's 25-year-old daughter called 9-1-1 after receiving a phone call from her mother who said that an acquaintance of the daughter's was at the home threatening to shoot her with a handgun. The daughter reported that she was not at the home at the time.

Deputies arrived at the home within minutes of the call and found the woman lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by ground ambulance to Banner Ironwood Hospital and then by air ambulance to Scottsdale Osborn Hospital. Shortly after, she was pronounced dead.

The daughter was also transported to Banner Ironwood Hospital after she began hyperventilating. Detectives will speak with her about the suspect once she is medically cleared.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating 28-year-old Corey Deandre Allen of Phoenix. Deputies say there is reason to believe Allen may be responsible for the murder of Linda Perelli-Brown.

Sheriff Paul Babeu stated, “Linda Perelli-Brown was brutally gunned down in her own home during this senseless tragedy. We are asking for the public’s help to bring her killer to justice. Linda was a  loving mother and wife. We need your help in locating Corey Deandre Allen to bring closure to this tragedy."

He is described as being five-foot-five-inches tall, weighing 105 pounds with black, braided hair and black eyes. Deputies say he may be driving a red 1999 four-door Oldsmobile passenger car with Arizona License AWK-5059.

Allen is considered to be armed and dangerous. If anybody has information about his whereabouts, they are asked not to approach him but rather to call 9-1-1.
