TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire in the 1600 block of West Ajo Way Friday night.

Capt. Barrett Baker with TFD tells KGUN9 that the home was 75 percent engulfed and multiple mobile homes were threatened by the flames.

Multiple hose lines were used to extinguish the fire.

The crews on scene were able to prevent damage to other homes nearby, but the mobile home involved in the fire was a total loss.

The home had been unoccupied for about two years.

It took eight units and 21 firefighters seven minutes to bring the fire under control.

There were no injuries to firefighters and Red Cross was not needed.

Five people who lived next door were temporarily evacuated during the course of the fire.

They were allowed back in their home after the fire was under control.

The cause is still under investigation.
