Man arrested for multiple burglaries

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Jake Hardin, 27, of Eloy may be involved in numerous burglaries in the Arizona City, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Department. Hardin was arrested for auto theft, burglary and identity theft on Oct. 23.
Casa Grande Police Department responded to a residential burglary and auto theft on Oct 23. The stolen vehicle was equipped with a GPS tracking device, allowing detectives to locate the vehicle. The vehicle was parked at a residence in the 3700 block of East Batten Road.
Detectives from PCSO and CGPD found property from other burglary cases inside Hardin's home. The items that were found may be tied to 25 residential burglaries throughout Pinal County.
One of the items found included a box of ashes that was stolen on Sept 10 during a burglary in Arizona City. Detectives are working with other agencies to return the stolen property to the victims.
"Jake Hardin is a serial burglar who was caught thanks to the cooperative efforts of Pinal County law enforcement agencies working together. Hardin has caused so many victims fear and frustrations during his string of crimes. Now that Hardin is behind bars and the criminal charges are stacking up against him, victims will be able to work with law enforcement agencies to get their stolen property back," Sheriff Babeu said.
