Sierra Vista police investigate death of young man

SIERRA VISTA (KGUN9-TV) - A man was pronounced dead after officers responded to a Sierra Vista mobile home park early Sunday morning.
Sierra Vista police found 18-year-old KC Paul Southard suffering from serious injuries after responding to a disturbance call from the Garden Canyon Mobile Home Park, 405 S. Garden Avenue, just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday, according to Tracy Grady with the Sierra Vista Police Department.
Southard was later pronounced dead at the scene.
After an initial investigation, detectives arrested 30-year-old David Kennedy and charged him with second degree murder.
Kennedy is being held at the Sierra Vista Police Department. He will be booked into the Cochise County Jail.
Southhard's death is still under investigation.
