Walmart video shows robber pointing gun at employee, customers

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies are looking for a man who robbed a Walmart store Wednesday night, taking money and running away.

Deputy Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that the man entered the store at 2823 W. Valencia Rd. just before 10 p.m. and pointed a gun at customers and employees.

He demanded money from the register and was given an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detectives interviewed several witnesses and conducted a search of the area but did not locate the man.

He is described as about 5'6'' tall, wearing dark clothing, with a black bandanna covering his face and a dark colored beanie.

Deputies consider him armed and dangerous.

Detectives are considering that this incident may be related to similar cases in Tucson.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
