Medical Examiner finds alcohol in late Sheriff Dever's blood at time of crash

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Preliminary toxicology results show that Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever had alcohol in his system at the time of his crash.
Officials with the Coconino County Sheriff's Office say the county Medical Examiner found a level of alcohol associated with impairment in his blood at the time of the fatal accident.
The cause of death has been determined as multiple injuries and the manner of death an accident.
Carol Capas with the Cochise County Sheriff's Office tells KGUN9 that the Dever family indicated that Dever was still dealing with the effects of stress and pressure from recent events in his personal life.
Dever was killed in a one-vehicle accident Sept. 18 near Williams, Ariz.
He was 60-years-old.
