New technology jobs to come to Tucson later this year

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A high-technology manufacturer has announced that it will open a new operation in Tucson and hire 200 people over the next five years. 

Integrated Technologies Group is an engineering and manufacturing solutions provider that specializes in technologies in magnetic, servo systems and specialty cable product areas. 

The company has headquarters in Culver City, California, Huizhou, China and Nogales, Mexico. During the hiring process, the company will be looking for planners, mechanical, electrical and quality engineers, and test and production specialists.

ITG recently purchased the former Applied Energetics facility in Butterfield Park in the 3500 block of east Columbia Street. The company is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
